Hey I've been looking for any good movies or tv shows about lesbians. There is a decent amount I can find about gay men, but not so much about women. any suggestions?

Another good one is "Watching You" which is a great collection of short films. My favorite one on this DVD would have to be: "Ten Rules: A Lesbian Survival Guide" - which can also be found on YouTube, if you want to check it out. Funny stuff! Guaranteed to make you laugh :)

What are some more good books? I'm going to get some soon. I need to start reading again and would love to read some lesbian-inspired books.

I just watched Puccini for Beginners today. It's a bisexual romantic comedy -- I loved it.

Check out Jeanette Winterson. She's my favorite. She wrote Oranges Are Not the Only Fruit -- an autobiography about her childhood when she fell in love with another girl and came out in an extremely religious family. I also love a collection of short stories she has -- The World and Other Places -- my favorite story from it is The Poetics of Sex, which you can find here: http://www.randomhouse.com/boldtype/0499/winterson/sstory.html

The Hours is also great, and I'm planning on reading The Autobiography of Alice B. Toklas, which Gertrude Stein wrote about her lesbian lover Alice.

I like If these Walls could talk 2, I thought the different stages in time was good. I like Bound and Gia, The truth about Jane is a great one about someone coming out in school.

I watched that at OneMoreLesbian.com - but I can't seem to find it anymore.

It was actually on TV when I watched it -- HBO or showtime or one of those. They may still be showing it.

"Oranges Are Not The Only Fruit" was made into a movie by the BBC or something, I borrowed it from the library once.

I've wanted to see that forever. I'm heading over to OML to see if it's there.

Genia, if you know how to use bittorrent you can get the 2nd of three parts here: http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/3372550. They don't have part one or three for some reason, but it looks like they used to have part one. I suppose it's better than nothing, and if you keep coming back eventually you will bag the other two parts. Also you have to be okay with plunder and piracy.
