About Me:

Hi everyone. My name is Talia, i live in NJ. I found this site through facebook. I never know what to say in these 'about me' things. Basically i'm a shut-in, crazed animal lover, i sew, i quilt, i make clothes, i am a needle tatter and no, that doesn't have anything to do with tattooing lol. i love 'crazy quilting' which you will see me refer to as 'CQing' and that is highly embellished quilt blocks where you add beads, lace, trims, fancy embroidery all by hand. So i can sit and hand sew and embellish for 40+ hours and be happy. I feel like a very old soul at 29. I identify with people over 55 a lot... that might be a bad thing who knows? I 'hang out' on a quilting message board and go to a quilting retreat every year. I was the youngest one last year and i will be this year too. I love the girls though! I could totally love going to bingo with seniors every week, my mother & sister make fun of me for it -giggle- I curse a lot, but know how to keep it appropriately at bay (at least in the beginning) Oh well.

I have a son he is 8, will be 9 in Sept. his name is Sebastian. I have a boyfriend that I love, his name is Allan. I have 4 chinese-dwarf hamsters that i take out every day and spend time with, their names are: Ming-Ming (m), Eggroll (m), Peanut (f) and Luna(f) she's our resident caricature. I've been told i'm highly critical and very cynical... oops. I'm a super-ultra-mega type A personality, my boyfriend type B. I'm constantly cracking time whips on him lol.

Things that are important to me: brutal honesty, people who don't constantly state the obvious, passion, animal rights, gay rights, people who do what they want, being liberal.
